I am currently recruiting a Production Controller for my client based in Bridgend.
To be successful in this role, you will work well under pressure, be highly organised, and be able to communicate with all levels of staff.
As a Production Controller, your Duties:
Responsible for creating a detailed production plan for each manufacturing area in the business. Liaise with CEO, Design, and Engineers to specify the manufacturing route through the factory and subcontractors for each product type. Generate Works Orders in Sage and track their progress through the manufacturing process. Liaise with internal teams to work towards the schedule being held and monitored. Monitor progress against the production plans. Liaise with the buying team and Engineers to ensure subcontractor deliveries and pick-ups align. Working with the Parts Coordinator, plan the timely manufacture of all orders. Work with Warehouse & Purchasing teams to resolve material supply issues. Document processes and create SOPs related to Production Control activities. Monitor Works Order progress. 5S responsibility for own area.
You will need: Proficiency in Sage 200, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
