Production Controller

on a full-time, permanent basis at our

Desborough

site. Shifts: Monday - Friday - 06:00am-14:00pm / 14:00pm-22:00pm

Rotating Job Description

Effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets. Ensure the final product meets client specifications (SPI). Maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis. Effectively use the integrated management systems (VISION). Adhere to and promote best practices in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations. Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures. Ensure compliance with hygienic audits, both internal and external. Strictly adhere to GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go). Assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers. Attend Line leader meetings and relevant training courses as required. Assist in the identification and development of Line Leaders to promote succession planning. Assist in the training and development of new starters. Act as a role model for best practices. Monitor, control and minimise waste. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Engage in the company's PDP program. Act as a specialist for machinery knowledge. Drive personal development through training and work-based experience. Manage the output of assigned production and effectively deal with issues as they arise. Liaise with customers and clients as required. Be prepared to cover a variety of shifts to represent the management team. Undertake other duties as may be required that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post. Qualifications

H&S L2 Qualification. NVQ L2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations. First Aid Certification. Fire Marshall Certification. Additional Information
