Are you someone who is very process driven but also loves working with people and offering great service? Are you looking to start or continue your career in Publishing, or simply looking for a new challenge? Then come and join Taylor & Francis Group - a leading academic publisher - within our Books Production Editorial department, where we are recruiting for a Production Editor to project manage books production across the Routledge and Taylor & Francis imprints! As a Production Editor you will oversee the production of new titles from receipt of the author’s un-copyedited typescript through to delivery of the final product, ensuring new books meet our quality requirements. The key responsibilities of the Production Editor are: Commissioning suppliers, preparing material for suppliers, managing relationships with, and feeding back to, suppliers Handling incoming queries from authors and editors Maintaining up-to-date information on our database Quality control of final content Controlling budgets, and assessing and coding invoices for prompt supplier payment Completing multiple tasks to deadlines within a process driven environment Please note that full training will be provided. Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role you will: be accustomed to prioritising and working to deadlines, be organised, and be able to multi-task have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify errors understand the importance of maintaining information relied on by others, ideally through experience of using a database be able to manage expectations so that we deliver to everyone's satisfaction have the ability to problem-solve be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team have the ability to build rapport with people and offer first class customer service as well as be very process-driven adapt well to change and not be daunted by changing priorities have basic skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Reader, and have an aptitude and enthusiasm for working with new technology ideally have experience of working within budgets (but this is not essential) ideally have a basic understanding of the publishing process from typescript submission to final content (but this is not essential) Additional Information

The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. Time spent in the office is likely to range from 10%-80% of working hours with an expectation for a minimum of 2 days per week spent working from an office. Closing Date:
