This role plays a pivotal part in maintaining and improving product performance while ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes in a technically diverse environment. As a Production Engineer within the RF division, you will monitor and control manufacturing processes to optimize production performance and product quality. You will bring strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. The role supports the delivery of market-leading RF products to customers in sectors such as medical, marine, industrial, and defence. Main Accountabilities:

Provide technical support to the manufacturing team, leading the resolution of production issues with fast turnaround and corrective actions. Identify areas for process improvement within the product cycle, which includes mechanical assembly, joining techniques for various materials, and electrical/RF testing. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase product reliability. Collaborate with other engineering teams to verify that new products and tools are production-ready, support supplier quality improvements, and provide customer application support. Take ownership of root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet or exceed established quality benchmarks. Key Competencies and Skills:

Proficiency in process optimization, root cause analysis, and quality control methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, such as 8D or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Interest in developing the underlying technology of the products supported. Knowledge of mechanical engineering and materials science. Appreciation and comprehension of scientific theory. Desired Experience/Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering (or similar). Alternatively, HNC and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment. Seniority level
