Review current processes and existing methods of manufacture. Work on volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments. Ensure that existing equipment and machinery are kept in good working order. Recommend new equipment when and where necessary. Support with the creation of new manuals and staff training where necessary. Assist with plant layouts to ensure material flow is maximised. Work on production capacity planning and forecasting. Help to drive continuous improvement / kaizen programs on site. Desirable Skills and Experience:
Experience working within a similar role (Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer etc). Ability to use the relevant tools (PFMEA etc) and help to drive continuous improvement. Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC). Benefits:
