Our Dorset-based client, who is part of a larger group, has an opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to join their team. As Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of production processes, offering ideas for improvement where possible. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, supporting colleagues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and process-driven approach will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities as Production Engineer

Monitor the technical condition of equipment and perform routine maintenance Maintain accurate technical documentation and records Calibrate test equipment and production machinery Support and train colleagues in the safe and proper use of workshop equipment Design and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production issues

Qualifications and Experience as a Production Engineer Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of production processes and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement Knowledge of coil winding is a plus Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
