Production Engineer
to join their team in Luton and support their manufacturing operations.
About the Role: In this role, you ll focus on tooling design using SolidWorks to ensure efficient production processes, minimize waste, and deliver high-quality components. You will design and develop tooling, conduct process analysis, and oversee production efficiencies for both heavy and light machinery.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fittings using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software). Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and implement efficiency improvements. Support production teams in optimizing the use of heavy and light machinery. Contribute to delivering high-quality components through effective tooling and process design.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a Production Engineer role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for tooling and jig design. Experience working with light and heavy production machinery.
What's On Offer: Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits: 25 days holiday, contributory pension with life assurance, health cashback scheme, cycle-to-work program, and discounted gym memberships. Permanent role, fully on-site, Monday to Friday at the Luton site.
