Dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join our client based in Swindon. Key Requirements: Highly motivated A qualification or part qualification in an engineering discipline is an advantage. Competence to follow processes methodically and accurately. Good communication skills. Able to work both as part of a group and individually with limited supervision. Responsibilities: Electromechanical Knowledge: Knowledge of wiring and cable preparation is an advantage. Interpreting and understanding customer requirements from customer drawings and/or schematics. Create production assembly documentation, defining bills of materials and product build structures, 2D CAD drawings, and process procedures. Process Control: Control of production assembly documentation. Engineering change management. Control of tooling and first article approval. Quality Control: Resolving production issues in process, at final inspection, or following customer returns. Conducting 8D investigations. Proficient use of CAD software (2D drawings only required). Benefits: 23 days holiday plus paid public holidays (3 days required for Christmas shutdown). Death in Service of 3 times salary.
