Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing crucial support to the Production Manager, ensuring the successful running of the entire production process. This role requires strong analytical skills, engineering knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet production goals. Responsibilities Supporting the Production Manager in the success of our production process Successfully implementing our MRP system and ensuring it is utilised correctly Taking ownership of our MRP system once it is implemented and ensuring its accuracy by updating and maintaining its data on a daily basis Working with departments to support their transition in working with the MRP system Being a point of reference to anyone who requires MRP support Identifying and driving projects related to systems and/or production Assisting with workflow in production areas to help improve productivity Attending regular production meetings and being a key part of discussions Ensuring precise entry of all required production data Planning and issuing drawing packs to relevant machines/departments Creating, issuing and closing works orders within our MRP system Identifying and physically moving goods between work areas, from raw material through to finished goods Reviewing and maintaining reports that present information that is crucial to production Supporting the Production Manager in day-to-day problem solving to ensure daily plans are met Experience The successful postholder must have proven experience in the successful implementation of an MRP system within a manufacturing engineering environment Qualified to degree/HNC level would be advantageous Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent Pay:
