Experienced production garment tech required to join our lovely client based in Central London. They produce ladies soft separates and dresses in woven and jersey.
You will need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of our friendly team and have a keen eye for detail and organization.
The role involves working on production garments.
Key Responsibilities
Measuring and checking sealed garments through to submitting and approving shipment samples following all relevant customer processes. Checking graded patterns against the sealed pattern and ensuring correct grade increments have been applied. Preparing patterns and specs for factories and liaising with production staff to send out. Working on relevant customer workbooks and systems to send samples and chase comments. Chasing for and checking pp samples and photographic samples, providing comments and sending pp’s to customers where necessary and supplying factories with comments once approved. Chasing for shipment samples ensuring they have all correct labelling and packaging. Liaising with customers to ensure styles approved for production/ delivery. Working to critical paths to ensure pp’s and shipment samples are received and approved in good time prior to delivery. Pattern cutting skills would be beneficial, but not essential for the role.
