We are seeking a time served CNC machinist to join our established client in Portlethen on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities: Programming, setting and operating CNC Machine Tools to the required standard in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. Working with a range of materials including carbon steel, various stainless steels and some exotic steel. Interpreting engineering drawings and working with imperial and metric measures to ensure dimensional accuracy. Working efficiently on your own, and as part of a team, interfacing with the production, Engineering, HSE, and QA departments. Keeping machine and work area clean and tidy and ensuring housekeeping duties are performed. Experience required: Time served, with a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Competent in the ability to read Engineering drawings. Proficient in MoriSeiki/Fanuc programming. Competitive rate to be discussed at interview.
