Production Manager Location: Sherwood Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

We are a small, specialised electrical business seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Manager to oversee our production operations. This is a hands-on role, suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys optimising production processes while managing a small, close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:

Plan, coordinate and manage all production activities to ensure efficiency, quality and timely delivery of products. Team Management:

Lead, motivate and support production staff, ensuring high performance and compliance with company policies. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance production processes and implement cost-effective solutions. Resource Allocation:

Manage resources, including materials, equipment and labour to meet production schedules. Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Health and Safety:

Ensure all production activities adhere to health and safety guidelines. Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and KPIs to senior management.

Essential: Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the electrical or manufacturing sector is essential. Strong organisational and leadership skills. Ability to analyse and optimise processes for improved efficiency. Familiarity with production planning and quality control principles. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable: Experience with specialised or custom electrical production. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
