Production Manager

to oversee our shop floor operations, manage multiple trades, and drive the business to the next level of success. Reporting directly to the directors and founder of the business, this is a pivotal position where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our lodges are built to schedule and to the highest standards. You’ll lead a talented team, implement cutting-edge production processes, and ensure our luxury lodges continue to set industry benchmarks. Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management: Earn the respect of our highly skilled workforce, motivating them to deliver exceptional results. Project Scheduling: Plan and manage multiple builds, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the best standards. Detail-Oriented Project Management: Maintain and enhance project management systems to ensure precision in every build. Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing techniques to optimize workflows and reduce task durations. Problem-Solving: Serve as the go-to problem solver for production challenges. Progress Reporting: Provide daily updates to directors on build progress, milestones, and potential challenges. Health & Safety Compliance: Implement robust health and safety measures, including risk assessments and method statements for each build. Ensure builds meet BS3632 standards and maintain this once met. Support the business in gaining accreditation by the NCC. Assist in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics as the manufacturing resource planning system of choice for the business. Direct line management of senior production team members including performance management, absence management, and reporting. Report to the board on production updates and track key KPIs. What We’re Looking For

Proven experience leading construction projects with knowledge of multi-trades. Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and managing a diverse team of tradespeople. Exceptional project planning and scheduling expertise. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics to fine-tune build timings and ensure on-time delivery. Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment. Experience in applying lean manufacturing techniques. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive, results-driven approach. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Benefits
