Posted 16.01.25 Packaging Permanent Competitive salary package Are you a Production Manager who wants to make a real impact on cultural change and continuous improvement in a successful, growing business? This truly is a rare and exciting opportunity for you to create something special in a best in class, newly built factory that will see the business double in turnover in the next 2 years. Terinex are an independent flexible packaging supplier that specializes in the design and print of flexible packaging – film, paper and foil-based products – for the food, medical and pet food industries. 2024 saw them open the UK’s first net zero CO2 rated building to house a flexographic printing facility. Located on a new 3-acre site near Derby, the £10m 46,000 sq ft building is big enough to accommodate the company’s future growth and innovation plans in the most sustainable way possible. As Production Manager, reporting into the Production Director, you will have the opportunity to provide the vision, to coach, mentor and ultimately develop your team in world class manufacturing techniques and performance management with the aim of meeting SQCDP targets and delivering excellent production output. As you develop your team and help them solve problems through root-cause analysis, utilizing ERP data as part of daily Gemba, you will then be able to progress from focusing on the day-to-day to longer term strategies and sustainable Continuous Improvement. Working with the Production Director you will define the culture and environment on the shop floor in keeping with core values; develop structures, systems (including the basics such as SOPs) and skills in readiness to meet and successfully overcome the challenges as they continue to grow. Who we're looking for?

An engaging and inspiring production manager with a track record in implementing systems and procedures; in problem solving; and, ultimately, in promoting a RFT culture and improving all manufacturing key performance indicators such as cost, waste, capacity utilization and OTIF. Your experience will be within flexible packaging, print or lamination or other high-volume roll/sheet converting manufacturing environments such as films, foils, polyesters, adhesives, paper, silicone, textiles, adhesive tapes, foams, plastics, felts, rubbers, and liners. Experienced in driving measurable and sustainable performance improvement through implementation of lean/world class manufacturing techniques including TPM and 5S. Strong coaching/developing skills. What They Offer

Terinex will offer you a competitive salary based on experience. Terinex will both support and mentor you in your career progression and expect you to help them develop a first class production team. They believe in continuous improvement, teamwork and collaboration as fundamental ways of working. Are you the one we're looking for?
