Reporting directly to and supporting the Managing Director in coordinating the day-to-day operation of the factory teams and providing full compliance responsibility, the role of Compliance and Quality Officer would cover the following areas:
Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials for the factory Hands-on involvement within production departments to understand processes and material resource requirements. QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits. Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays. Oversee induction and training of new production personnel Coordinate training matrix throughout departments. Responsibility for Health and Safety across all departments. Plan/carry out an annual programme of internal and external audits. Manage servicing and maintenance for all equipment.
As the role is varied, we need you to have the following:
Experience of health and safety essential NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management would be great You must be highly organised with strong administrative and communication skills. Have previous experience of strong negotiation and administrative skills. To have previous experience of a production environment would be an advantage
For this unique, key position encompassing Compliance, Health and Safety and Quality, you will receive the following:
