Production Manager

to join their Senior Management Team. Job Overview:

The Production Manager will oversee all production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves leading a team, coordinating with multiple departments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve company production and quality goals. Benefits: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Opportunity to work in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment Enrolment in the company workplace pension scheme Ongoing training and development opportunities Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling Quality Control & Assurance Team Leadership to manage and mentor employees Inventory & Resource Management: Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained Oversee the implementation of Kanban or other inventory control methods to optimize resources and minimize waste. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality within the production process. Health & Safety Coordination: Liaise with Health & Safety Consultant to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to. Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential risks proactively. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Prepare and present regular production performance reports to the General Manager and Board. Person Specification: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Production Management role, within manufacturing or engineering Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing multi-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
