Production Manager Part of the senior Leadership team (SLT) of a 250 headcount manufacturing business Shape the strategy for the site + develop your P&L exposure Chance to progress to General Manager; Head of Manufacturing / Director of Production Would suit a Production manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager who wants to take that next step and become more strategic and be part of the SLT shaping the business and getting P&L exposure Manufacturing aerospace, automotive and wider precision mechanical components and assemblies This Production manager jobs role will suit an ambitious Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager who wants to make that next step and have the chance to progress to become a General Manager of a multinational 250+ headcount organisation. Candidate profile and extra notes: This is a senior role that is part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will have a big input and influence over the strategic direction of the site and achieving the P&L. We are open to looking at candidates who are Manufacturing managers / production managers looking to step up OR more senior candidates who are already at that Director of Manufacturing or Operations Manager level (providing you have that focus on manufacturing / production) or Plant managers. Ambitious – there is real scope here to grow into a General Manager / Plant Manager and build your P&L knowledge and experience. We are flexible on the type of manufacturing you have been involved in; but ideally some mechanical bias & in a regulated industry with good quality standards (e.g. aerospace/automotive etc or similar). They have a very strong CI mindset so you will certainly mirror that – seeking to be better every day. We want to see examples of taking ownership and driving performance not just reporting. An ability to cut through noise to key points and focus on execution. Friendly and collaborative. This is NOT an aggressive business.
