We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team at Delkia. Overview of the role: The focus of the role is leading the manufacturing build, test, and material control activities in the Delkia Production Facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership characteristics and the ability to manage a multi-discipline team. Key responsibilities: Supervise and manage the workshop manufacturing team & the workload. Support the development and maintenance of company Production Processes & procedures for manufacturing, testing & material control. Capacity planning – Progress reporting against the workshop plan. Responsibility for the Health and Safety of employees and visitors to the facility, and general facility housekeeping. Support the Operations and Engineering department in developing and maintaining the Inventory management system / workshop tracking & planning system. Assist with quality inspections and audits at various stages of the project lifecycle to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Ensure team members are up to date on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle. Desired Qualifications / Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related field. Demonstrable experience in leading teams, with a focus on the manufacturing lifecycle of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Panels and implementation of manufacturing & logistics management systems. Understanding of Industry related standards for manufacturing and logistics with one or more Delkia related sector ideally Clean Energy as an initial focus. Strong logical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to manufacturing, test, and quality control activities. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the industry is desirable. Flexibility to adapt to different sectors and work environments. Minimum 3 years of experience in an equivalent role, preferably with a focus on project delivery in nuclear and defence is desirable.
