Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, business processes, and continuous improvement methodologies. The Production Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of quality within the team. Duties Manage daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to schedules. Oversee the assembly process, ensuring that all products meet quality control standards. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise inventory levels and reduce waste. Implement and monitor business processes and systems to enhance productivity. Track production metrics and report on / manage performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Provide mechanical knowledge support to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve maintenance practices. Train and develop production staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork. Experience Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and business processes. Demonstrated ability in implementing continuous improvement strategies. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand equipment functionality is advantageous. Experience in quality control processes and methodologies is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
