Production Manager £40k - £50k Lisburn Vickerstock is collaborating exclusively with one of Northern Ireland's rising success stories to support their search for a Production Manager. Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality, bespoke joinery for the construction, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. As the Production Manager, you will lead a team of 35-40 within the joinery and production departments, with the additional responsibility of expanding and developing your team in the coming weeks and months. What is in it for you? £40k - £50k 5% bonus 29 holidays (increasing with service) Health Insurance Company Pension Key Responsibilities as a Production Manager: Successful management of multi-cell processes including machine, assembly, and finished products. Knowledge of implementing modern manufacturing process thinking within a quality management system. Oversee day-to-day operations of the production facility & financial aspects of the operations in line with budgets and the site P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Promote a culture of continuous improvement & strive towards best practice world-class manufacturing. Improve the capabilities & capacity of the manufacturing unit, achieving Build to Schedule (BTS), On Time Delivery (OTD), & cost targets. Efficiently integrate new products into production. Lead, develop & motivate staff towards the achievement of targets & objectives on an ongoing basis. Provide relevant information and detail on an annual basis for the factory budgeting process in conjunction with the Financial Department. Ensure timely and relevant communication with all required departments in the business. What you will need to succeed as a Production Manager: Background of 3 years managing within a joinery/fit-out background is ideal. Experience of and a proven track record of staff management, appraisal, & development of the team. A strong motivator with excellent communication skills; you will be fully conversant on lean principles and have demonstrated the ability to apply lean techniques in your career to date. Proven track record of consistently meeting financial targets.
