What kind of skills are we looking for?
Minimum of 3 GCSE grades C or above (Maths and English essential). To hold and be able to demonstrate at least 5 years working experience in a fast-paced production facility, preferably within timber or a manufacturing environment. A proactive manager that works well under pressure and has the ability to think outside of the box to gain the best outcome. Must be computer literate; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential, with the ability to work using modern computer systems and databases. Excellent communication skills are a necessity, to converse with stakeholders at all levels of the business and the company's customers and representatives. Lean Six Sigma qualifications are an advantage. Good man-management qualities in gaining buy-in for teams when implementing new measures/practices.
