Managing a team of 10 direct reports and 60 indirect reports. Managing 3 on-site production facilities and warehouse. Responsibilities
Planning : Create production schedules and plans, ensuring the production team is aware of any potential or upcoming changes to plans. Budgeting : Working closely with the Sales & Accounts teams to estimate costs and negotiate budgets. Quality control : Set and maintain quality standards, monitor production, and implement quality control programs. Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control. Health and safety : The production manager will be responsible for Health & Safety across the site. Staff management : Train and develop staff, implementing realistic training and progression plans. Communication : Liaise with buyers, marketing, sales, and other teams. Equipment maintenance : Working closely with the on-site Maintenance Engineer to ensure there are PPM measures in place and any breakdowns are dealt with in a timely manner. Procurement : Work with suppliers to obtain parts, raw materials, and other resources. Reporting : This role reports directly to the Owner of the business, with weekly meetings held with management to discuss progress.
This role is working day shift Monday to Friday, with flexibility required in peak production periods. #J-18808-Ljbffr
