Production Manager

They are seeking a Production Manager with strong operations experience to lead manufacturing excellence and manage several, hugely talented teams. This is a permanent role based on-site Monday to Friday offering an amazing career path for the right person. The Role The Production Manager will take responsibility for the manufacturing operations for a very busy and fast-paced manufacturing site including production, continuous improvement, quality, health and safety, environmental, engineering/maintenance and warehousing functions. Acting as the focal point for best practice in the facility, you will lead and coach a hugely successful and committed team of section managers to achieve the business’ goals. You will be a strategic thinker and able to communicate across all areas of an international business with a strong local heartbeat. The Production Manager will ensure effective engagement with all areas of the business and will define and sustain production-linked KPIs alongside daily CI activities. You will be responsible for CAPEX projects and manage both the overall project content and budgets. The Production Manager will be a figurehead in the business for best practice and collaborative working. The Person The successful candidate for the role of Production Manager will possess proven leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with experience of managing multi-functional teams, leading, and influencing business success and driving a positive and inclusive health and safety culture. You will be well versed in using modern lean manufacturing tools and have demonstrable experience in delivering successful CAPEX projects in a production setting. The Production Manager will have a good understanding of engineering, quality, environmental, logistical, and human factors within a manufacturing operation. Alongside this, you will have a demonstrable record and experience in mentoring and developing successful teams.
