In a nutshell… Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Spalding who promote growth and development. As Production Manager you will play an active role in delivering the production plan ensuring that standards are met, and the line leaders are taking responsibility for product quality during the manufacturing process. You will manage shift KPI's, accidents and near misses whilst identifying training requirements and carrying out performance reviews, attending absence meetings and dealing with disciplinary issues. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry at a Production Manager / Shift Manager or Supervisor level. What's involved for the Production Manager… Manage reporting Line Leaders who oversee circa 200 Line Operatives Ensure production standards are met Develop, coach and mentor direct reports Make sure that line staff take full responsibility for the manufacturing process Deliver and drive forward 5S standards Manage shift KPI's Promote HSE and hygiene standards Identify training requirements Provide advice, support, and guidance to Line Leaders. Identify areas of improvement, opportunity and innovation.
