My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced

Production Manager

to join near Stirling. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that has a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

The company is well established, financially stable and has earned a reputation as an excellent employer.

Responsibilities:

Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime. Plan and organise production schedules. Distribute manpower effectively. Ensure production is cost-effective, run as efficiently as possible, and minimise overtime spend. Ensure that Team Leaders are fulfilling the Roles and Responsibilities expected of them. Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls. Review departments' performance against Action Plans and KPIs. Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees. Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business. Experience Required:

5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role. Sound knowledge, understanding, and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods. Implement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better. Excellent project management skills. The ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi-functional teams. Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety. Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program.
