Location: Enfield, Greater London, England Salary: To be discussed in the interview depending on experience. Newstaff are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Production Manager for our client in Enfield. Immediate start for the right candidate. As Production Manager, you will lead our team of Fabricators and Sheet metal workers, as we are experiencing a significant period of growth. You will meet customer requirements with full accountability for safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a high-performing team to support our growth. Liaise with indirect Production Planning/Production. Manage daily production activities to ensure adherence to quality control standards and production schedules. Develop and implement Production Plans/Schedules to meet Production targets. Utilize labour efficiently, ensuring productivity is maximized. Assess resource requirements and set plans for required training/Personal Improvement Plans (PIP’s) and/or overtime. Manage throughput and labour to meet production demands in all areas including Inspection. Ensure best working practice, and continuous improvement activities are driven. Enhance operations for maximum efficiency. Meet customer specifications and delivery timelines. Conduct reviews and manage non-conformance and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Skills and Behaviours:

Strong communication and leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills. Maintain a target-driven, positive attitude and motivate the whole team. Promote team cohesion and development. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Work collaboratively with various departments within the group and partners. Stay current on industry changes and value personal growth. Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in a production management role or similar position within a manufacturing setting. Must have a “Hands-On” approach. Strong understanding of Engineering and quality control processes and systems. Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement strategies effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Significant leadership experience in an engineering-manufacturing role. Background in a plant or manufacturing environment. Salary: To be discussed in the interview and will depend on experience.
