We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Planner to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to continued growth and success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Role Overview: The Production Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production schedule of engineering projects, ensuring that all production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on time. You will work closely with the engineering, manufacturing, quality and procurement teams to optimize resource allocation, maintain inventory levels, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities : Production Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules for engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of products. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage material requisitions, and ensure materials are available for production. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to resolve production issues, align on timelines, and optimize resource allocation. Demand Forecasting: Analyze demand patterns, forecast production needs, and adjust schedules as necessary to meet customer requirements. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate production processes for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory, and progress reports. Problem-Solving: Address any production delays, bottlenecks, or material shortages promptly to minimize disruptions. Key Skills & Qualifications : Experience: Some experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Knowledge: Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and inventory control. Software Proficiency: Experience with production planning software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues quickly and efficiently. Qualifications: A degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field is desirable but not essential.
