A globally backed Manufacturer in Herefordshire is looking for a Production Planner to join their £120m turnover business. This role requires an experienced Planner/Scheduler who can bring organization and good knowledge of planning systems for the next 1-2 years of manufacturing. There will be a flexible nature to this position with the potential for hybrid working.

Role: Production Planner Salary: up to £37,000 per annum + benefits Location: Leominster (hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 at home)

The key responsibilities for the Production Planner are:

Working closely with all internal stakeholders to develop and maintain scheduling procedures and processes from Engineering, Sales, Production, etc. Strategic and analytical approach to planning. Coordinating with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and quality. Preparing and presenting reports on Engineering, Production, and facilities performance as well as capacity to management. Having the ability to plan 1-2 years ahead of schedule.

The key requirements for the Production Planner will be: Proven track record of success in scheduling and planning in a manufacturing environment. Good internal/external communicator who is able to work with all departments. Strong knowledge of Planning Software - Liquid Planner/Primavera planning software (ideally). Strategic and analytical mindset.
