Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is currently seeking a Production Planner to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Packing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-standard results in a fast-paced environment. Job Title: Production Planner Location: Liverpool Salary: 38,000 - 48,000 per annum Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months), with potential for permanent placement Key Responsibilities: Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive workplace. Communicate effectively with the customer service team to address any customer-related issues promptly. Maintain a tidy, clean, and safe working area at all times, promoting a culture of safety and quality. Report safety and quality concerns to team members, ensuring all practises comply with safe behaviour standards. Investigate customer complaints thoroughly and provide actionable solutions. Report quality defects to suppliers to maintain product integrity. Follow key standard routines diligently to ensure operational efficiency. Order raw materials for production, adhering to company procedures to ensure timely availability. Create and communicate a clear and effective production plan, coordinating closely with customer services and commercial teams. Comply with month-end procedures, accurately tracking materials usage and losses. Perform other duties as required, with training provided to develop necessary skills for your growth. Essential Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SAP or similar production planning software. Experience working independently or managing a planning team effectively. Strong reporting and stock management skills. Desirable Experience: Experience in food manufacturing within a continuous process setting. Scissor lift training is a plus. If this role is of interest to you, please apply now!
