Production Planner

Our client in Aylesbury is seeking a Production Planner to join them on a permanent basis. 4 day working week - Either: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry-leading engineering firm in the Motorsport, Automotive, and Aerospace sector. Our client is seeking an individual with an interest in developing skills in production and engineering. As a Production Planner, duties include but are not limited to: Planning for production workflow Implementing, planning, monitoring, and coordinating all departments to ensure plan compliance and completion Planning all production with efficiency in mind, looking to maximize productivity Identifying and allocating required resources to satisfy demand and delivery Adjusting to the dynamic nature of the business and customer demands Liaising with other departments, such as Stores and Engineering, to ensure Production and Dispatch is on schedule Communicating potential issues with Supply/Production Continuous improvement, seeking Planning and Production Improvements Working closely with and assisting the Production Manager Required Experience: Proven track record and knowledge gained as a Production Planner Experience with an MRP system Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including spreadsheet experience Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Good attention to detail Good mental agility, able to effectively work on several levels simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Able to work in a dynamic environment under pressure Ability to work as part of a team or individually Working hours:
