We are seeking a Production Planner to join our client's team in North Hykeham. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Job Details:
Full time, permanent 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
Production Planner Role: Planning, scheduling and coordinating production. Work with the planning team to develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods. Evaluating raw material and all other bill of material requirements to ensure everything is in place to meet production requirements. Reporting any issues associated with the plan to the Head of Production Planning. Support customer services where necessary with customer delivery schedules. Evaluate production and supplier performance, recommend improvements to any areas which are directly impacting the planning process/performance. Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust production schedules as needed.
Experience Required: Experience as a Production Planner is desirable, not essential. Experience with MRP systems (Manufacturing Resource Planning). Good communication skills. Computer and data literate. Target-oriented.
