Select is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Planner for one of our lovely clients on the outskirts of Norwich.

My client is a leader within their field and due to continued success, they are looking to recruit a production planner to join their established team in Norwich.

My client is looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for production planning and material control. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planner, who will play a key role in supporting production operations in line with the master production schedule.

The Role: In this role, you will assist with production planning and material control functions, performing an essential administrative role to keep operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the company's production database and supporting all departments and staff as needed. You will be responsible for ensuring that production planning information is produced on time and all relevant documents are issued in accordance with the master production schedule.

This includes managing shop order barcoded paperwork, pick lists, drawings, and any additional paperwork required for job packages. Additionally, you will handle shop requisition/order material availability checks and shortage notifications, using the company's production database and Excel to manipulate data and communicate effectively with relevant departments.

Requirements: Experience working within a Production Planning team within the FMCG / Engineering Sector Experience with Excel is required. A general understanding of manufacturing processes is beneficial.
