Production Planner
Global Food Manufacturer - Food Processing Site
- Site-based role in Greater Manchester, Nr Oldham
- Later shift; starting at 13.30 or 11am, Mon- to Fri with occasional weekend overtime
- Salary £30,000 to £35,000 Pro Rata (depending upon your experience)

The Role
This role will see you;
- Design and implement production plans and schedules for a busy and ever-changing production operations.
- Manage standard operating procedures to ensure correct & timely completion of customer orders.
- Create work order plan for distribution.
- Work to reduce lead times, increase productivity and maximise output.
- Ensure correct labour, machine capacity and materials are in place…..
Your Skills/ Experience
To be considered for this position you will need;
- Previous production planning experience from Fresh food manufacturing, the ideal candidate will come from chilled, meat or “food to go”.
- Advanced Excel and MRP & ERP knowledge (ideally SAP)
- The ability to prioritise in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Analytical by nature with strong data management
