Frontline Recruitment Weymouth is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our client's team in Weymouth. In this role, you will be responsible for organising production schedules to meet demand and uphold quality standards. Your work will ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget, contributing to a smooth and cost-effective production flow.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of production processes, strong organisational abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer proficiency are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate production workflows for one or more product lines. Plan and prioritise operations to maximise efficiency and minimise delays. Assess manpower, equipment, and materials needed to meet production demands. Monitor projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Address any issues that arise, minimising disruptions to production. Collect and analyse output data (e.g., finished product counts, defect rates). Prepare and present performance and status reports. Collaborate with teams such as quality control, warehousing, and other departments.

Skills and Experience Required:

Proficiency with AS9100 standards and experience in aerospace manufacturing. An HNC in a relevant discipline is preferred. Demonstrated experience as a production planner. In-depth knowledge of production planning and quality control principles. Familiarity with MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning). Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. Strong mathematical and statistical skills. Leadership expertise, including situational leadership abilities. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.

Role Details:

Full-time, Monday to Friday.
