Job Summary We are seeking a Production Planning Manager that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production planning process to ensure efficient and timely production of goods. This role involves managing production schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets. Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address any issues or delays. Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet quality standards. Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement. Implement and maintain production planning software and tools. Communicate production plans and schedules to relevant departments and stakeholders. Manage and mentor a team of production planners and coordinators. Adhere to the health and safety regulations and company policies. Skills & Qualifications/Experience Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or significant experience in a related field. Experience in the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM) or similar. Proven experience in production planning and scheduling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in production planning software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. Personal characteristics: TEAM PLAYER – If we can measure it, we can make it.
