Permanent position Our client is a leading manufacturer in their field and currently seeking an addition within their planning team. Applicants will be supporting and strengthening their existing team within the manufacturing areas. The role has a particular focus on ensuring a planning approach which delivers high levels of efficiency while maintaining a high level of customer service. Main Duties:

Create and route special parts ensuring that they are manufactured safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Create and download cutting programmes for the laser and punching machines as required. Create sheet packing lists ensuring that they are in build order, to the correct weight limits, packing type, and ensure all other customer requirements have been addressed. Issue packing lists to Team Leader. Monitor progress and flag issues to the Senior Production Planner. Achieve a high level of stock accuracy by carrying out regular stock checks on punched and ground coat development sheets and update the Company's ERP system as appropriate. Close production jobs to ensure the flow of information within the Company's ERP is optimised. Identify and correct jobs that have booking errors and raise any ongoing issues with the Senior Production Planner. Be involved in the purchasing of metal products including updating lead times and minimum stocks. Be fully involved with improving and updating the company's ERP systems. Assist with investigating stock discrepancies ensuring that information on the Company's ERP system is accurate and meaningful. Candidate Attributes:

Experience in a similar role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. IT Skills - must include Word, Excel, email and be familiar with MRP systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional time management with the ability to meet critical deadlines. Positive attitude and the desire to learn. Minimum Requirements:
