Production Shift Manager – Huddersfield

We are looking to appoint a Production Shift Supervisor to work for one of the most respected manufacturing businesses in the Yorkshire region! The successful applicant will have a background in manufacturing and look to develop within their career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for the Production Shift Supervisor to work with a high performing production team. Your Roles and Responsibilities: – Manage a team of 12-15 production operatives. – Happy to work a fixed shift pattern, 10pm-6am – Proven track record of getting the best out of teams. – Manage sickness, grievances, disciplinaries. – Strong understanding of lean manufacturing – Track record of implementing continuous improvement strategies – Plan daily production schedules – Ability to impose a safe working environment. – Attend handover meetings at the end of shift. – Ensure production quality is to the highest standard. – Liaise with the supply chain to understand stock requirements.
