Mine Production Superintendents
to join our open pit mining team. As the Mine Production Superintendent, reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee mining operations, including drill and blast, load and haul activities. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of mining and haulage operations to ensure an efficient and safe mining operation. This role is offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, candidates residing in Kalgoorlie are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Production Plans:
Design and execute production plans focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to meet goals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Ensure High Standards of Mining Execution Quality:
Oversee daily operations to maintain quality standards, conducting regular inspections and audits, and maintaining detailed records for accountability and improvement. Manage Direct Reports:
Lead and develop a team of mining professionals, providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations. Oversee Manning, Fleet, and Infrastructure:
Assess staffing needs, coordinate equipment procurement and maintenance, and implement strategies to maximise fleet utilisation and minimise downtime. Control Mining Activities and Costs:
Monitor operational costs, analyse financial reports to identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-control measures while maintaining productivity and safety. Provide Expert Mining Advice:
Offer strategic advice on complex mining challenges, collaborate with senior management on long-term strategies, and ensure activities align with best practices and industry developments. Requirements: Unrestricted Quarry Manager's Certificate:

Proven leadership in the mining industry with the ability to manage diverse teams and large-scale operations focused on safety, efficiency, and performance. Significant Open Cut Mining Experience:
