An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a busy, well-established manufacturing organisation in the Pontyclun area. This is a hands-on role, where you'll lead a dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient production processes while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets are met on time and within budget. Supervise and motivate a team of production staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high morale. Monitor production processes, identifying and addressing issues to maintain quality and efficiency. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team. Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and any incidents. Liaise with management to implement process improvements and achieve operational goals. Manage stock levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with suppliers as needed. Train and develop team members to ensure skill levels meet production demands. Liaise with other departments to ensure materials are available for production in a timely manner. Reconcile stocks at the end of a work order and close works orders. Coordinate changeovers in-line with production plan and basic fault finding. Carry out back-to-work interviews. Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment (experience in food/beverage industries is a plus). Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork. Hours of work:
