Production Supervisor
for our client based in Burnley. This is a full-time position working from Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm, Friday 7am -15:30 Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour The Production Supervisor will, under the immediate direction of the Production Co-Ordinator, operate within the Health and Safety Policies of our client ensuring Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment standards are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities: Lead and motivate a team of Operators to ensure all aspects of manufacturing operations are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner. Role model a safe working environment and encourage the team to do likewise. Ensure required Quality checks are understood and completed to a high standard, dealing with and investigating any non-conformances in a proactive way to prevent risk of reoccurrence. Work with other Departments to share staff to maximize productivity across the site, with flexibility to support other operations. Deliver efficiency targets (Daily, Weekly, Monthly), sharing how well we are doing with the team and acting on their ideas to improve line performance. Address underperformance in a timely, fair, and consistent manner, providing support throughout. Where standards are not maintained, assume responsibility for addressing this, including raising the issue with your Production Co-Ordinator or manager. Ensure standards are met consistently in hygiene and general housekeeping. Qualifications: Effective communication skills at all levels. Experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment. NVQ Supervisor level 3 or higher. Minimum of 5 years experience in supervising and coordinating a Production Team in an FMCG environment. Basic administration knowledge.
