A leading manufacturing company in Cheddar is looking to appoint a new Production Supervisor as a part of their continued growth strategy.
Your new role
As the Production Supervisor, you will be reporting to the Production Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Site General Manager. You will manage a team of up to 20 shop floor machinists, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the correct specifications and delivered to OTIF KPI standards. You will be included in the Continuous Improvement / OpEx strategy by leading projects and focusing on minimising waste.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Production Supervisor vacancy, you must have a proven track record of working as a Shift Manager / Supervisor / Team Leader within a machine shop company. Ideally, you will have worked with products being supplied to the Aerospace sector, but experience in the Automotive, Heavy Engineering, or Defence sectors will also be considered favourably.
What you'll get in return
As the Production Supervisor, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £35,000, which is dependent upon your experience. You will have the opportunity to conduct overtime, which is paid at 1.5x and 2x salary, depending upon the time of work. Furthermore, you'll join the site bonus scheme and benefit from professional development investment.
