Portsmouth Our client, a forward-thinking manufacturing company, is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to take charge of their production team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a manufacturing background, especially in the electrical sector, to demonstrate leadership and drive operational success. Key Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 24+ production operators, ensuring productivity and efficiency. Delegate tasks according to the production schedule and track progress to meet deadlines. Regularly update the production plan and capacity planning tools. Manage holiday requests and other absence approvals. Conduct return-to-work interviews following absences. Lead and participate in investigations or disciplinary procedures when necessary. Organise and facilitate weekly team meetings to maintain open communication and team alignment. Work closely with the Production Manager, supporting day-to-day operations. Represent production updates in management meetings. Maintain ongoing communication with the Operations Director regarding team performance and production goals. Handle customer queries with professionalism and efficiency. Essential Requirements

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the electrical industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Attention to detail and excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with IPC-620 Standards is an advantage but not essential. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred. Proficiency in using computer systems for planning and reporting tasks. Why Join Our Client?
