Job Summary The Precast Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production of precast concrete elements, ensuring that quality, safety, efficiency, and timeline standards are consistently met. The role requires leadership skills to manage teams, technical expertise in precast processes, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Production Supervision

Oversee daily production activities to meet schedules and deadlines. Monitor and allocate resources (labour, materials, and equipment) effectively. Ensure compliance with production specifications and quality standards. Troubleshoot issues in real-time and implement solutions to minimize downtime.

Team Leadership

Manage, train, and mentor a team of production workers and operators. Conduct daily briefings to assign tasks, discuss safety measures, and set targets. Evaluate team performance and provide feedback for improvement. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Quality Control

Work closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet required specifications. Conduct inspections and ensure all finished precast components comply with industry standards. Identify and address quality defects promptly to maintain production standards.

Safety and Compliance

Enforce adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments of the production area. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Operational Management

Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and workforce hours. Collaborate with logistics and procurement to ensure material availability. Suggest and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact between production teams, management, and other departments. Prepare and deliver reports on production performance, issues, and KPIs.

Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical diploma or degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in precast concrete production or a similar manufacturing environment. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience. Skills: Strong understanding of precast concrete processes, materials, and equipment. Proven ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to manufacturing. Key Competencies Leadership and decision-making abilities. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation. Effective communication skills (both verbal and written). Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure. Commitment to safety and process improvement. Working Conditions Primarily a manufacturing floor role with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
