2962140 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Bradford. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in overseeing a production team and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of operations on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities : Supervise a team of approximately 28 Team Leaders and operatives to ensure smooth production processes. Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring targets, quality standards, and health & safety regulations are consistently met. Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Assist with planning and scheduling to ensure resources are optimally allocated. Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards. Handle staff performance issues, including training, development, and disciplinary procedures as required. The Ideal Candidate : Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or similar production environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Sound understanding of production processes, health & safety, and food safety standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with teams at all levels. Organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
