They are a growing company and are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. Purpose Of The Production Supervisor Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Hull. The successful candidate will oversee a team of approximately 30 employees, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support the Production Manager in daily operations and senior management meetings. Main Duties And Responsibilities Of Production Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to meet daily production targets. Ensure all quality control standards are adhered to, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly to minimise downtime. Monitor and improve productivity and efficiency across the production floor. Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement operational strategies and process improvements. Provide detailed reports on production performance and participate in senior management meetings. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety protocols. Motivate, train, and develop team members to enhance skills and performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and production schedules. Experience / Knowledge Requirements Of Production Supervisor

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to be firm but fair in managing a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Solid understanding of quality control and continuous improvement practices. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks under pressure.
