Production Planning Supervisor
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

About the role Key responsibilities for the role will include the following:
Overseeing Daily Operations:
Managing production processes and schedules to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality output, minimizing downtime and meeting customer delivery timelines. Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, overseeing procurement of components, and leading stock-taking activities. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the production and warehouse teams, ensuring onboarding, training, and compliance with health and safety standards. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, support audits, conduct risk assessments, and promote a culture of safety. Process Improvement:
Identify and implement lean manufacturing techniques and other improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Facilities Oversight:
Manage building maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and ensure proper functioning of equipment and utilities. Communication and Reporting:
Act as a liaison between management and teams, prioritizing workflows and ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.
Education and Experience 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering, optimizing production processes. Demonstrated experience in team management and development. Proven problem-solving experience with strong decision-making abilities. Proficiency in planning, quality control, and KPI management. Experience with lean manufacturing (5S) and driving innovation. Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
