A rewarding career and great working environment, Flexible approach to work-life balance, Support and training whenever required. Our Client: A leading company in the point of sale industry is looking for a Production Supervisor who is confident working on fast-paced retail and brand-activated assembly projects of varying sizes from one-off through to full multi-store rollouts. The scope can vary from one day to the next, which means there's never a dull moment. They need a team player who can lead from the front and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the high standard of quality expected by clients. The role will involve working in a team with other members. You must enjoy working to tight deadlines and take pride in maintaining high standards of workmanship. Key Requirements: Ability to supervise a small team of in-house Production Operatives and, on occasion, agency staff alongside own responsibilities. Competent in assembly and packing of retail display items, working from specific instructions from the line manager. Part assembling and QC checking components during the assembly phase. Competent in reading and understanding technical drawings. Use of appropriate packaging materials to suit protection for the goods. Requires use of light hand/air powered/power tools. Use correct manual handling techniques, including use of a fork lift truck (training provided as required). Accurately record/check condition of fixtures to a brief and make reports. Carry out routine maintenance checks of warehouse equipment, including cleaning duties and disposal of unrequired displays - under instructions from the Line Manager. Hold a full UK driving license (must be over the age of 21). Be fluent in English. About the role: The role is full-time and paid hourly. The contract includes a basic rate for 37.5 hours weekdays, but this comes with a flexible working framework managed by the Production Manager. Plus, overtime for hours outside of the basic, which are a regular necessity of the role and involve regular evening work, sometimes night shifts and weekend work. A large amount of what they implement into retail happens outside of trading store hours, so that goes with the territory. Apply:
