Team Supervisor , for a bespoke Aviation Service and Manufacturing company based in South Essex. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operational Supervision Manage day-to-day operations of the cleaning bay, ensuring optimal workflow and efficient use of resources. Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of aerospace components, tools, and equipment according to technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines. Monitor adherence to established cleaning and decontamination processes, ensuring compliance with standards and certifications. Lead and supervise a team of cleaning technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and industry updates. Essential Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or maintenance environment in the aerospace industry. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials, and techniques used in the aerospace industry. Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH and MSDS requirements. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Preferred: 6 years of relevant/technical work experience and 3+ years of leadership experience. Hands-on experience with advanced cleaning technologies such as ultrasonic or vapor degreasing systems. Working Conditions: Work is primarily conducted within a maintenance environment, with exposure to cleaning agents, chemicals, and equipment noise. Shift work or flexible hours may be required to meet production deadlines. Compliance with strict PPE requirements and safety protocols is mandatory. This role is paying circa £33,000 per annum.
