Full Time Office Based GO Superfoods is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our daily production activities at GO Superfoods Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring safety standards, driving productivity improvements, and ensuring our production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality standards. Requirements
Key Responsibilities Lead a team of staff to produce products according to the laid down standards, within acceptable quality parameters and according to the plan. Set standards by organising shift running, from production schedules (manning, materials, changeovers etc) so as to maximise productivity & efficiency within the department. Liaise with agencies in recruitment and selection of staff required to achieve the capacity plan. Ensure the optimum utilisation of shift labour by effective labour planning, training & development of all staff and the completion of all relevant paperwork to verify the training. Ensure delivery of the production plan, co-ordinate and control daily activities to ensure efficient food production process that produces safe product the right quality first time, on time, in full as planned. Ensure that all associated documentation is correctly and fully complete in the production process on to the next section. Control of materials usage, implement improvement plans to increase production efficiencies. Liaise with other departments, such as Technical, Warehouse, Planning and Supply Chain to ensure that the coordination of the flow of materials into and out of their area is timely, in line with the production plan, within the quality guidelines. Effective and clear communication to all stakeholders in the business, both verbally and in writing. Assist in maintaining a program of quality assurance activity by ensuring that products manufactured by GO Superfoods are safe, legal and meet or exceed customer expectations as and when directed. Responsible for all elements of Technical & Quality in the area to ensure legality & customer requirements are adhered to. About You A relevant qualification in production management, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment demonstrating strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, motivate, and support a production team. Strong people management skills, including team development and conflict resolution. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet production targets and deadlines. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience implementing them in a production setting. Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations. Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, think quickly, and adapt to changing circumstances. Understanding of equipment maintenance and reliability to ensure production machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized. Other information
