Premier Engineering is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing company in Ware. This role involves overseeing production operations, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
The Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment Strong understanding of production processes and equipment Excellent leadership and team management skills Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively Awareness of health and safety regulations and best practices Proficiency in using production tracking and reporting systems
The Production Supervisor role will involve:
Managing day-to-day production activities and ensuring smooth operations Supervising and motivating a team of production staff to meet performance targets Monitoring production schedules and ensuring deadlines are met Identifying and implementing improvements to processes, workflows, and efficiency Ensuring adherence to quality standards and resolving production issues as they arise Training and mentoring team members to develop their skills and performance Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to support production goals Maintaining a safe and clean work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
